  • The Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department was presented with a $15,000 check by the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle. Fire Chief Corey Lane and VFD crew accepted the check and provided a tour of the fire station. The donation was made possible with a grant from the M.S. Doss Foundation in Seminole, Texas, which is committed to supporting the needs of public safety agencies and front-line officers and firefighters who place their lives at risk while performing their duties.
