Thirteen Dimmitt High School

Thirteen Dimmitt High School students placed in the top three spots in recent District UIL contests, earning them a trip to Regional competition held April 26-27, in Abilene. Students were (front, left to right) Pablo Perez, Maria Bernal, Kaylie Furr, and Kenzie Phan, (back row) Eric Duenas, Daniel Duenas, Alex Hernandez, Veera Bhakta, Kheyla Castaneda, Arriana Mendoza, Martin Rodriguez, Sarah Morales, and Renae Chavez. Competitions included were accounting, editorial, literary criticism, mathematics, number sense, and science. Pablo Perez, placed second in mathematics advanced to the upcoming State UIL competition set for May 13 in Austin.
