The Nazareth Swifts won a tough seeding match against the Claude Mustangs on Monday, 1-0.
The two teams were tied for the District title.
As #1 seed, Nazareth draws a bye in the first round and will play the winner of the Springlake vs. Bordon County game sometime next week, with the time and location to be decided.
Battling for the top spot, both teams played tough with a single run brought in by Swifts Lincoln Pohlmeier in the third inning.
Winning pitcher was Breck Proctor who was solid in all seven innings for 83 pitches and 57 strikes, 10 strikeouts, giving up five hits and one walk.
