With the help of Connie, he owned and operated Nutt Feed Yard for many years. While raising his daughters, he strongly believed in teaching them the value of hard work.Gary was a longtime member of the Dimmitt Church of Christ and believed that spreading God’s word was life’s greatest calling. He was a faithful servant of God and continued to use his faith to touch others around him even in his final days. Gary served with Sunset International Bible Institute on their Sunset Council Board and on the SIBI Foundation Board of Directors. Gary had always had a dream of flying and in January of 2014 he fulfilled that dream by earning his pilot’s license. But most of all, Gary will be remembered for loving his family unconditionally, fishing with his grandchildren, taking them to look at cattle and spoiling them with ice cream.
