Can expecting bag limits set waterfowlers up for disappointment?

A question was posed recently in Ducks Unlimited magazine concerning the so-called “perfect limit” and whether waterfowl hunters are driven by bag limits.In my growing up days, bagging a single goose was considered an incredible accomplishment.

Three Hereford FFA teams are bound for Area after success in District Leadership Development events. A total of 15 students competed at the Littlefield District Leadership Development Competition.District Champion Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking winner, qualifying for area was Santiago Soto.

The Central Church of Christ meets every Sunday at 148 Sunset, the corner of Sunset & Plains, in Hereford. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.; Morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m.; and the Sunday evening worship begins at 6:00 p.m. We also meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Hereford Lions Club has had a busy fall making two different donations to the Mighty Maroon Band Booster Club and the Whiteface Booster Club. The club has also been busy installing and delivering wheelchair ramps to local residents in need.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct (SCJC) issued a reprimand to Jennifer Eggen, a retired Municipal Court judge in Hereford on Oct. 20. She was publicly reprimanded for “berating and demeaning juveniles and their parents in her courtroom.
