Arbor Day planting, tree giveaway being done by City

The City of Hereford is staging two tree-oriented events including a tree planting on Arbor Day, April 24, and the city’s first annual Tree Giveaway on May 1. Trees for the giveaway were available on a first come first served basis, and all available trees have been reserved at one per recipient.

La Madre Mia Study Club hears program on John Bunch Complex, future plans

La Madre Mia Study Club met at the John Bunch Complex with Melinda Bridge and Jill Harrison co-hosting for their regular meeting on April 9. Cathy Bunch gave the program with the theme Take Me Out to the Ballpark.

Central Church of Christ

The Central Church of Christ meets every Sunday at 148 Sunset, the corner of Sunset & Plains, in Hereford. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.; Morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m.; and the Sunday evening worship begins at 5:00 p.m. We also meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m.
