Whitefaces fifth at Plainview Relays
The Hereford Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Hereford High School Tennis program to support Hereford student-athletes and their dedication both on and off the court.
LIONS DONATION
Hereford High School honored Kayden Alonzo last week as he signed to continue his academic and football career at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
SIGNING
Great results in Dallas for Hereford High School welding students. Three welding students competed at Universal Technical Institute. Results from the competition were: 1st Place – Kevin Garcia, $7,000 scholarship; 5th Place – Emiliano Garcia, $2,000 scholarship and 7th Place – Diego Gonzalez, $2,000 scholarship
HHS WELDING
Hereford Boys Golf competed in the Raider Rumble today and finished 3rd as a team. Our golfers played in a unique format with a low ball front 9 and alternating shot back 9. Results: Kyler Stow and Corey Mendoza: 77; Hezekiah Carbajal and Cash Valdez: 79; Jayden Tijerina and Matt Zepeda: 85.
HHS GOLF
This past weekend, 60 amazing CTE students from Hereford High School represented Hereford High School at the SkillsUSA Texas District 3 competition. They competed across three major categories: Skilled & Technical Occupational Leadership With 20-plus different contests — and several students competing in more than one event — their dedication and hard work truly paid off. More than 45 students brought home awards from the event.
HEREFORD CTE
HELPING OUT
Hereford High School’s Izak Dominguez competed at the Andrews Track meet Friday and came away with a second place finish in the 110-meter-hurdles and a third place finish in the 300-meter-hurdles behind only athletes from 6A Midland Legacy. The full Herd track team will be in action Friday in Plainview.
