Northwest Elementary 1st Grade - Aaron Gonzalez Aaron has demonstrated significant growth in both reading and math over the course of the school year. It has been wonderful to watch his confidence grow daily, particularly through his improved communication skills. As a consistent model of ROAR behavior, Aaron sets a positive example for his peers, and HISD is incredibly proud of his hard work and dedication.

IMAGINED FERMI CAMPUS--This artist rendering shows how developers imagine the data center campus of the Fermi Project, also known as Project Matador, could evolve mostly in Carson County to the east of Amarillo. Tax abatements and a water deal have been proffered for the project, although emergency water needs in the event of a problem with proposed nuclear reactors could overwhelm the available water supply.
