Castro County 4-H elementary team

  • Castro County 4-H elementary team advanced to the Texas Tech GEAR robotics contest in Lubbock. There were 24 teams that advanced out of 152 elementary teams for the season. and the Castro team finished eighth.The team includes Bensen Birkenfeld, 3rd grader from Nazareth, Mason Mireles, 3rd grader from Hart, Griffin Neinast, 5th grader from Dimmitt, and Sawyer Gibson, 4th grader from Nazareth, who was unable to make the match. The team was coached by Nazareth sophomore Spencer Acker.
