Castro County treasurer Elaine D. Flynt attended the 2022 Conference of the County Investment Academy June 27-29 in Galveston, presented by the Texas Association of Counties (TAC).
The annual conference featured investment officers, economists and other experts discussing influences on the current economy, cybersecurity and privacy risks, and timely trends in investing.
County CPAs, auditors, treasurers and commissioners attending the conference could earn 15 hours of continuing education credit toward mandatory continuing education requirements.
