Shower held honoring the Beames

A wedding shower honoring Dillon and Jaimye Beames was held on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt.

The long serving table was covered with a white linen tablecloth, accented with a scattering of succulent arrangements along the table. A large cement bowl with Chartreuse polka dots holding large succulent plants in shades of green and yellow with a deer antler in the foreground was the focus of the table. Abark basket with plants and wooden bead garlands complemented a metal basket spilling over with dripping succulent plants and highlighted with a chunk of wood and pearl necklace holding a silver and turquoise cross. A live-edge wood slab with bright green and white plants, along with a metal lantern filled with succulents accented by lemon leaves completed the beautiful table settings.

The hostesses served a variety of delicious treats to those celebrating with the happy couple. Crystal trays were filled with pecan thumbprint cookies decorated with small green cacti. Bacon and green chili quiche were presented on milk glass trays. A footed tin tray held cinnamon streusel mini muffins and a variety of tasty quick breads, including pineapple, pumpkin pecan, apricot, and cranberry orange.
