Gov. Greg Abbott announced Texas’ continuing strong jobs growth following employment releases from the Texas Workforce Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Data showed Texas experienced the fastest annual jobs growth rate in the 12 months through October 2022 and broke its all-time record for total jobs for the 12th consecutive month, adding 49,500 nonfarm jobs last month.
“Texas continues to create jobs and set historic employment records each month thanks to our strong, growing workforce and continuing business confidence in Texas,” said Abbott.
