Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) leaders and members gathered in Waco for its 89th annual meeting on Sat., Dec. 3.
In 2022, TFB gained 2,450 members for a total of 538,064 member-families. Out of 205 organized county Farm Bureaus across Texas, 142 counties gained members during the year, and a statewide retention rate of 88.11% was achieved.
TFB president Russell Boening highlighted 2022 accomplishments during his annual address to about 1,000 farmers and ranchers, saying that producers battled the hardships of drought, inflation, high input costs but still led the state’s largest general farm organization to many successes.
