A public hearing has been set for Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. to discuss the proposed increase to salaries and allowances for public officials for FY 2021-22.
Suggested increases include:
County Judge: $42,400 plus allowances ($25,200 state salary supplement, $4,800 Juvenile Board salary, and $1,500 conferences and training).
Clerk: $46,050 plus allowances ($5,700 conferences and training).
