Castro County 4-H’ers competed at the District Food Challenge on Monday with five teams and 17 youth in the contest.
In all, the District competition had 480-plus youth and 130 teams competing on five food challenges teams.
Each group received a bag of ingredients and made a dish. The high school teams had to decide based on one main ingredient what else to buy with a limited budget.
