Dimmitt High School was well represented at the THSWPA State Championships this past weekend, bringing home two medals and placing seventh as a team. State qualifiers were Yazmin Barron, Allysun Jones, Na’khiyah Porras and Kimberly Solis.

The Dimmitt Bobbies powerlifters attended the THSWPA State Championships, 3A Small School, in Corpus Christi this past weekend and returned with two medals.
The Dimmitt girls’ team has consistently qualified lifters for the state championships since the program began a few years ago. Coaches leading the Dimmitt Powerlifting program are Aimee Broom, Martín Rodríguez and Jose González.
