The Castro County 4-H Horsemanship Clinic was held on Tuesday, despite the heat and dust, and proved to be a lot of fun. Tell Bagley organized the event with the assistance of Jane Bagley organized the event.
Ryan and Kyle Birkenfeld donated use of Schulte Arena in Nazareth for the event and Texas Farm Bureau provided water for youth of all levels from the Panhandle who participated in the clinic. Lunch was also provided for participants.
The clinic was taught by two members of the Texas Tech Ranch Horse Team, Teghan Brooks, from Wolfforth, and Bree Westbrook, from Wichita Falls. Both Teghan and Bree are TTU juniors studying animal science with a focus on equine production and competitive members of the team.
