The Nazareth Swifts fell on the road 54-24 to the Whitharral Panthers last Friday in a battle of state-ranked teams.
The Swifts were ranked 23rd among all Texas high school six-man football teams by sixmanfootball.com. Whitharral was ranked no. 25 by the same poll.
The Whitharral defense stifled the normally productive Nazareth offense, while the Swifts had no answer for the Panthers’ speed.
