    Two DISD students participated in a CAST for Kids event this past weekend at Buffalo Springs Lake.

    Danny Prieto and Josiah Rector of Dimmitt, participated in a recent event. Both students had a great time and brought their families along for a great fishing experience. They joined the 40 special needs children who were registered to fish at the 5t annual event.

    Kids had the opportunity to go out on boats for a morning of fishing, followed by lunch and tournamentstyle awards ceremony. Texas Farm Bureau is a sponsor for the Buffalo Springs Lake event and was honored to prepare lunch for the participants and their families.
