DHS and DMS cross country teams competed at the UIL 3A District 3 Meet on Tuesday. The DHS Bobcats were the number one team. DHS senior Azariah Gonzalez was the top varsity boys’ runner, winning his 3-mile race. Dimmitt will advance several to the Regional competition in Lubbock on Oct. 25.
Dimmitt cross country teams competed at the District 3A Meet on Tuesday, scoring some solid wins and advancing several to the next level.
The top three high school teams and the top 10 individuals qualify to compete at the Regional Meet on Oct. 25 in Lubbock.
The Bobcats varsity boys’ team was the number one team in their division which had five schools and 40 runners. Dimmitt beat Denver City, Brownfield, Friona and Littlefield for the top placing.
