The Dimmitt Economic Development Corporation (DEDC) has begun its downtown streetlamp project.
According to City Manager Daniel Jackson, the DEDC has had this project in the works for several months. Now, having met all requirements from TxDOT and the City of Dimmitt, public meeting requirements, and accepting the electrician bid from M&C Electric, the DEDC is excited to see the project finally moving forward.
“Dimmitt is blessed to have such a proactive DEDC board”, said Jackson. “The DEDC is also looking to move forward with small and local business assistance very soon.”
