Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for November, 7.1 percent more than in November 2021.
These allocations are based on sales made in September by businesses that report tax monthly, and on sales made in July, August and September by quarterly filers.
Locally, Castro County made some big gains, up 46.35% from last year. The county received $31,959 in sales tax revenue.
