The South Plains – District 2 4-H has recently been highlighting it ambassadors, with Spencer Acker of Castro County 4-H the center of that recognition recently.
He is among and working with the 32 high school age STEM Ambassadors and six Collegiate STEM Ambassadors who are returning to help lead and guide. District 2 proudly houses 21 Texas 4-H Ambassador representatives.
“STEM Ambassadors teach others about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through hands on, fun, and engaging activities. We also spend time learning and improving our skill set. I really like getting to meet all kinds of people and showing them how they use STEM in their everyday life.”
