Oleda Schumacher, 97, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Monsignor Arturo Mesa officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Dimmitt.

Nelson

Ronny Nelson went home to be with the Lord on June 4 at 6:02 p.m. He is now riding on the wings of the angels. Ronald Dale Nelson was born Aug. 18, 1939, in Dimmitt, Texas. He joined the U.S. Army in 1961 and served until 1965 where he spent time sta tioned in Germany.

Jose Tovar Rodriguez, 26 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 12, at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev.

Milton Ivor Bagwell gained his eternal reward on June 29, 2021. His final moments were spent with his beautiful bride, Gainell, by his side. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jonathan Sullivan officiating.

Laverne McLain, 87, a lifelong resident of Hart, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Plainview, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, at 10 a.m.at the First Baptist Church in Hart, Texas with Kevin Shaw officiating; burial to follow at Hart Cemetery.

Jose Rolando Treviño, age 61, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 2, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Floydada. Interment will follow at the Floydada Cemetery.

Mary Monette Kenmore Ray went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Monette was born in Dimmitt, Texas on Dec. 3, 1936, to Faye and Ferron Kenmore. She was a 1955 graduate of Dimmitt High School. While in high school, she met the love of her life, George Ray.

Bagwell

Robert Elmo Bagwell, 89 of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, died May 30, 2021, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Oct. 12, 1931, near Dimmitt, Texas, to Jim and Robertha (Wood) Bagwell.

Curtis James Grand, 87 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Amarillo. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 2, at 5 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Coby Gilbreath officiating.
