It is becoming a challenge here at Rhoads Memorial Library to keep our doors open as flu, strep throat, and COVID cases are on the rise.

Think

I try to not say what I always think, but at times I think that rule needs to be modified. I have read numerous posts and heard a variety of points of view regarding the quarantine, but I am going to voice something as a mother, friend, or aunt that is touched by COVID-19.

Fishing With Father

Fishing with my father was a religious experience. In fact, he said he felt closer to God while fishing than he did while sitting in church. I guess that was a good excuse as any to skip church on Sundays. But dad wasn't alone.

I Can Trust Him

Jehovah God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Yes, He is the great I AM! The LORD God is all powerful, all knowing and all around me. I can trust Him. Father, I praise You. You are God Omnipotent.

As we approach November 2020, remember that Daylight Savings Time (DST) ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. This means we set our clocks BACK one hour (and reclaim the hour of sleep lost when DST began!
