Capt. Ewing - 30 years of service

Castro County Sheriff’s Office Captain Mary F. Ewing reached a milestone in her career last Wednesday, and was joined by Sheriff Sal Rivera, Sheriff’s deputies, and jail staff to celebrate 30 years of service as a jailer and jail administrator. Ewing began as a jailer in 1992 under Sheriff C.D. Fitzgerald and was appointed jail administrator in 1995 by Fitzgerald which she continued to do under Sheriff Rivera. The Sheriff’s Office presented her with a service plaque and 30-year pin at a celebration at the Castro County Law Enforcement Center on July 6.
