The Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet to celebrate deserving teachers, citizens and businesses.

The event was held at Dimmitt Cafetorium with catered meal and entertainment, with sponsors and community members kicking in to decorate tables and make donations for the silent and live auctions.

Honored with awards this year were Kendra Cantrell, Citizen of the Year, The Pink Ladies, Citizens Through the Years, Stevie Jones, Teacher of the Year, Michelle Cure, Educator Through the Years, and West Texas Coffee, Chamber Business of the Year.

Case & Fowler offered great entertainment during the banquet, and Jason Wooten offered his services as auctioneer for the live auction.

The banquet is a great way to kick off the 2023 year. The Chamber of Commerce has other annual events planned throughout the year and can be followed through their newsletter and on Facebook.
