The Castro County Commissioners Court met Tuesday and approved the appointments of two people to the Castro County Historical Commission Board.
The appointments came through Resolution #02-22-2021-1 and #02-22-2021-1 approving Jerry Heller and Kay Gfeller to the board.
In other business, commissioners approved the Interlocal Agreement for Continued Operation of the Castro County Exposition Building in the city of Dimmitt.
Concerning the Interlocal Agreement of Assistance for maintenance of streets and rural community fire protection between the county and Dimmitt, Hart and Nazareth was also approved.
After reviewing, a proposal for courthouse security cameras was additionally approved.
The Burn Ban in the country was tabled until a later date.
Commissioners heard reports form the county treasurer, county/district clerk and Justice of the Peace and approved.
