The Dimmitt CREW (Citizens.Ready.Equipped.Willing) is planning a City Park clean up on April 24.
The group will be painting and cleaning up the park areas with the help of the city, First United Bank and middle school student council. Cleaning supplies, food and water will be provided for volunteers. The project will start at 9 a.m.
The park is located at 300 SW 3rd Street.
CREW is a volunteer group developed by community members striving to make a difference. They invited all members of the community to join in their efforts to beautify and make Dimmitt a home to be proud of and welcome project ideas.
Their next meeting will be on April 17 at 10 a.m. at West Texas Coffee.
