Jorge Luis Grado
U.S. Marshalls on Sept. 15 notified the Dimmitt Police Department of a man wanted by that agency.
DPD officers located the individual, 30-year-old Jorge Luis Grado, at the Dimmitt Bobcat Football Stadium, and placed him under arrest.
Further investigation by DPD officers led to the discovery of a controlled substance in Grado’s possession, packaged in a way that officers believed was consistent with the sale/delivery of narcotics.
Grado was arrested for the U.S. Marshal warrant as well as manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over 4 grams and under 200 grams in a Drug Free Zone.
Grado was booked into the Castro County Jail.
Assistant Police Chief Tony Martinez praised the Dimmitt Police Officers for their consistent and proactive approach to keeping Dimmitt safe.
