1 John 4:7-12
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. 8 He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or [unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.
There are only truly two states of being: life or death.
I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live. Deut. 30:19
There is a God, and He is good. He is Love. He is so pure, that He sent His precious, sinless Son to die for every human--including those that would curse and revile and blaspheme Him.
But God shows and clearly proves His love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners. Christ died for us. Who would die for you?
If you have felt like you're just a walking dead person, or just going through the motions; just existing, and wondering why you're on the planet, then cry out to God. He is a good Father.
Whether you believe it or not, He is your Creator, Elohim. He created you in every detail, with great and loving care. He loved you before you were born.
Even when we were dead, slain by our own shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; He gave us the very life of Christ Himself.
And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together giving us a joint seating with Him in the heavenly sphere by virtue of our being in Christ. All who call to Him sincerely, He will hear and answer. He is life.
Choose life. Choose God. He is here, waiting to help you--to bring you to a much higher dimension of living than you've ever known. Ask Him to guide you to the right church and to the right Bible, and to teach you His ways. He will.
