Bobbies lose to Lady Dons

The Dimmitt Bobbies fell in a high-scoring game to the Palo Duro Lady Dons, 25-15.

The Lady Dons jump out ahead in the first inning scoring 12 runs to the Bobbies’ two runs. The Bobbies battled in the second inning, scoring eight runs, to narrow the score to 12-10, and came through with another four runs in the third inning to tie the score 14-14.

Palo Duro came in with another six runs in the fourth innings to push out ahead, 20-14.

Dimmitt scored a single run in the fifth, with the Lady Dons coming in with three runs, and another two runs in the sixth inning to give them the win, 25-15.

Bobbies pitcher JC Sepeda took over after the first inning and had a total of four strikeouts, 50 balls and 83 strikes. Nina Vasquez pitched the first inning and had one strikeout, 23 balls and 12 strikes.
