With two weeks of intensive practice to start off the year, players must attend all practices and excuses/unexcused practices must be made up. Players not making up practices will be unable to play in games.

Players must also complete their physical packets and turn them before or on the first day of practice in order to be cleared for workouts.

All players will be required to travel to and from games with the teams unless under extreme circumstances and then a request to travel home with parents must be complete, submitted and approved by the Girls Coordinator no less than 24 hours prior to the event.

With three Bobbies volleyball teams - Varsity, JV and Freshman – teams will be decided on based on self-responsibility, self-motivation, skill level, conditioning, attitude (winner’s mentality) and coach-ability: skills (45%) will include serves, passes/dig, attacks and sets; leadership/coachability/work ethic include workouts, communication, leading by example, interest in self growth, no excuses, attitude and hard work; and athleticism, timed mile (8 ½ minutes) and form pushups (25 in 60 seconds).

Playing time is determined by attendance, attitude and skill and may not be equal on JV or Varsity. Emphasis is placed on positive attitudes, hard work, progress and improvement.
