Castro County deputies receive commendations

Three Castro County Sheriff’s Office deputies were honored before the Commissioners Court on March 25, with Sheriff Sal Rivera presenting the commendations. Deputy Lambert Martinez received two letters of commendation for two major drug arrests and one letter of appreciation for his efforts in suppressing crime in the county. Deputy Caylan Vasquez received a letter of commendation for a major drug arrest and a letter of appreciation for his efforts in suppressing crime in the county. Sgt. Samuel Cavazos a letter of appreciation for his efforts in suppressing crime in the county.
