During the New Year time frame, Dimmitt Robotics played three teams in a virtual scrimmage with the North Texas(DFW) area.

Dimmitt teams 13755, 12398,15152 were 3 out of 8 teams that participated.

Team 15152 scored 15 total points, with 10 being their highest score, among six matches earning them and came in 6th place.

Team 12398 scored 116 total points, with 40 being their highest score, among six matches earning them 5th place.

Team 13755 scored 196 total points with 70 being their highest score among 6 matches, earning them 4th place and special recognition in achievement.

“This was a great way to kick off the year with much needed experience” said Christian Medina, sophomore at DHS. “It's not where we need to be but we are working toward our goal to become better in scoring through robot design and driving.”

Dimmitt Robotics has been busy preparing for three more virtual scrimmages:

-Jan. 10-17, North Texas, Virtual Meet, Pink, Violet, Cyan. It will include three teams and the beginning of judging of a new component, the Engineering Portfolio. Teams 13755, 12398 and 15152 will be participating.

-Jan. 11-16, West Texas, Panhandle Plains, League Virtual Meet 1. Teams 13755, 12398 and 15152 will be participating.

-Jan. 17-23, North Texas, Virtual Meet, Emerald Virtual Meet. The meet will include teams 13755, 12398 and 15152.
