Hart elected VP for American Agri-Women

American Agri-Women (AAW) elected its national officers at its 2021 national convention recently in Phoenix, Arizonia.

AAW, a national coalition of farm, ranch, and agri-business women, is in its 47th year of advocating for agriculture.

Heather Hampton-Knodle of Fillmore, Illinois, is the new president; Rose Tyron Vancott of Paradise, California, is the first vice president; Kathy Goodyke of Crook ston, Minnesota, is treasurer; and Laura Hart of Hart, Texas, is vice president of communications. Karolyn Zurn of Callaway, Minnesota, former president, will now transition to the past president role. These women will serve two-year terms.

Continuing on the national board for the second year of their two-year term are Jacquie Compston of Minden, Nevada, who serves as vice president of education; and Kim Bremmer of Loyal, Wisconsin will continue as secretary.

American Agri-Women is the nation’s largest coalition of farm, ranch, and agribusiness women with more than 50 states, commodity, and agribusiness affiliate organizations, united to communicate with one another and with other consumers to promote agriculture. American Agri-Women members have been advocating for agriculture since 1974.
