Panhandle Texas Agri-Women to host “Taste of Texas”

The Panhandle Texas Agri-Women will be hosting their 2nd Annual “Taste of Texas” on Aug. 13 at the Yellow Rose Inn in Nazareth.

The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is a farm-to-table dinner and dancing event, silent auction and beef raffle. Funds from the event will benefit local 4-H and FFA chapters across the Panhandle, while also highlighting local agriculture.

Anyone over 21 years old may attend and tickets to the event are required and may be purchased in advance online at eventcreate.com/e/tasteoftexas.

Last year, the event made proceeds that were used to grant more than $14,000 to Panhandle 4-H and FFA chapters.

American Agri-Women is the nation’s largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women with more than 50 state, commodity and agribusiness affiliate organization, united to communicate with one another and with other consumers to promote agriculture, AAW members have been advocating for agriculture since 1974.

Texas Agri-Women is an affiliate of AAW and is largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women in Texas. The Panhandle chapter meets monthly in the Amarillo with members from across the Panhandle.
