Saved from Sin

Praise the LORD!

“For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justifi ed by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life (Romans 5:6-10 NASB).”

Hallelujah! Saved by His death, saved by His life… ‘Saved, Saved’ by Jack P. Scholfield/Public Domain 1911 (b: 1882/d: 1972) I’ve found a Friend, who is all to me, His love is ever true; I love to tell how He lifted me And what His grace can do for you.

Refrain: Saved by His pow’r divine, Saved to new life sublime! Life now is sweet and my joy is complete, For I’m saved, saved, saved!

He saves me from every sin and harm, Secures my soul each day; I’m leaning strong on His mighty arm; I know He’ll guide me all the way.

When poor and needy and all alone, In love He said to me, “Come unto Me and I’ll lead you home, To live with Me eternally.” (faithwriters.com)
