Students tour bank
The Dimmitt Middle School Advanced Family Consumer Science class had the opportunity to tour First United Bank in order to help them better understand the lessons they are learning in their Dollars and Sense coursework, a class taught by Connie Montelongo. Cody Cleavinger and Shelley Bills visited with students about personal checking accounts, savings accounts and showed the students the ATM teller chat using their interactive teller. The students also had a bit of a history lesson by learning that The First State Bank of Dimmitt, now First United Bank, was chartered on March 7, 1907, in Dimmitt.
