‘Would you believe?’…
Maxwell Smart (of Get Smart TV-1968-70) asked viewers the thought-provoking question.
What would ‘you’ believe?
The answer determines your destiny.
“The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now these people were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Therefore, many of them believed*, along with a significant number of prominent Greek women and men (Acts 17:10-12 NASB).”
The Bereans eagerly received the word; spoken message of the Gospel shared by Paul and Silas. Yet, they rightly examined the Scriptures for themselves. Through God’s word, they found affirmation and encouragement.
‘Therefore, many of them believed.*’
