The Hart Junior High Robotics team competed in the Amarillo League G.E.A.R Contest, where they had a good showing. Team 2 won the Programming award. Team 3 placed 2nd with a score of 190 points, and Team 5 tied for 3rd with a score of 165 points. Team 1 placed 6th with a score of 100.

March was fast and furious! Many of our county teams advanced to state and regional competitions. Congratulations to the Nazareth Swiftettes basketball team and Hart Ladyhorn State Powerlifter Adamari Morales, both are state champions.

Although neighborhood cats may seem like a fun, charming presence, unowned cat populations have been criticized for causing harm to a community and its environment. Without proper management, stray cat populations can rise rapidly, leading to concerns about predation, disease, and public nuisance.
Castro County 4-H has spent the last eight weeks getting ready for the Amarillo League Texas Tech GEAR robotics contest. Our 18 youths on six teams compete on Saturday. Tuesday the teams held their own mock contest at Nazareth ISD. Thanks to Nazareth Isd for the use of the cafeteria. First Robotics Team #16617 who served as judges, mentors, and leaders for the future of robotics.

COLLEGE JERSEY COLORING WINNERS

Communities in Schools of Richardson Elementary in Dimmitt held a college jersey coloring contest.All the jerseys were displayed in the hallway and the winners received Sonic gift cards.Students learned about different colleges this week and discussed mascots, colors and locations of colleges.

Peoples Bank Area Chairman, Larry Allen, has announced a promotion for Marcus Brockman. Brockman has been promoted to Rural Markets President.Brockman has been with Peoples Bank for 21 years. He grew up in Nazareth, Texas, and helped open the Peoples Bank branch in Nazareth.
