It is time for the dreaded New Year Resolutions that no one will keep, no matter how good the intentions are.

But for a change, to avoid the healthy ones like dieting and getting more sleep, here is a list of suggestions.

Stop doom scrolling on Twitter and Facebook. If you want constant bad news, that is a great place to find it.

Sign up for a marathon that you know won’t actually run. But it sounds very energetic and healthy.

Go outside. Among people. It is hard to imagine anyone would have to debate this – but all those government warnings have people paranoid to live life normally.

Refuse to acknowledge the entirety of 2021 at any social gathering. Let’s face it – it wasn’t a fun year overall for most folks out there.

Unfriend every person who shares their unsolicited diet or exercise regimen, for obvious reasons.

Do so much yoga that it actually justifies wearing yoga pants 24/7.

Read more – or at least turn the subtitles on while watching TV.

Eat more tacos. This is always good for the soul.

Actually put on a full outfit for Zoom calls even though business on top and PJ on bottom never hurt anyone.

Stop saying, “Mmmmm, how nice” during the inspection at the airport since it seems to provoke them.

Don’t text your toxic friend back. Yes, we all have one or two of them.

Hopefully, we are all meeting 2022 wiser, hardened and armed with enough sarcasm to weather what is thrown at us

Ḣappy New Year. Stay safe out there.
