RVs are welcome but there will be no hookups.

“The golf tournament will be in full swing as will the chili cook off, and we, the Pink Ladies are dedicated to help raise money for our DVFD,” said Sha Ebeling. “Our volunteer fire department is a valuable part of our community.

“The men who serve on the volunteer fire department dedicate many hours of their time to make sure that we, the people of Castro County are safe and have the luxury of having a well-trained, highly skilled fire department that is capable of handling any kind of situation that they might encounter. We are fortunate to have these individuals who volunteer their time to protect our community.

“The Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a 2-person, 18 HOLE TOURNAMENT, along with the Chili Cook Off. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win $1000.00 Visa card, and a Silent Auction with great merchandise that has been donated by our merchants.”

“Last year’s 8TH Annual Hwy to Hell-O Terlingua Chili Cook Off and Golf Tournament was a big success; thanks to businesses and individuals like you, we were able to present to our DVFD with a check for over $10,000.00,” said Ebeling. “This year we have high hopes that we will be bigger and better than ever. One way we can accomplish this is to present the volunteer fire department with a check as much or more than last year, and that is where you come in. Last year you generously donated to this worthy cause, and we are hoping that we can count on your support again this year.”
