The Dimmitt Bobbies powerlifters competed at the Frenship Tiger Invitational this past weekend and racked up another first-place team win.
Dimmitt was among 84 lifters from 12 schools at the THSWPA meet.
Taking top honors in their weight classes, were Rosalinda Comparin (105), Nissa Sanchez (132), Sandra Vasquez (148), Kimberly Solis (198), Na’Khiyah Porras(220) and Allyson Jones (259+).
Second place earners included Karla Perez (132) and Jesimae Gamez (259).
Coming in third place were Alexia Tarango (165) and Yadira Esqueda (220).
Team placings at the meet: 1. Dimmitt, 2. Brownfield, 3. Odessa, 4. Plainview, 5. Lamesa, 6. Levelland, 7. Frenship, 8. Lbbk Estacado, 9. Canyon, 10. Meadow, 11. Sudan, and 12. Lbbk All Saints.
