TISD Budget Hearing held at Called School Board Meeting

On June 15, 2026 a Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Tulia Independent School District was held in the Swinburn Board Room of the Tulia Independent School District. No Public Comments were heard.First on the agenda was a Public Hearing for the 2026-2027 Budget and Tax Rate.

The Board of Trustees of Tulia Independent School District held a regularly scheduled meeting on May 19th in the Swinburn Board Room.The first item on the agenda was the swearing in of the newly elected board members.

Temporary Lift of Burn Ban

As of June 8, 2026, there is a temporary lift of the burn ban in Swisher County for supervised controlled burns. The temporary lift is in effect UNTIL 6:00PM ON SATURDAY JUNE 13,2026. Please notify local fire department or Tulia Police Department of intended controlled burns.

Tulia High School Senior Honors Assembly was a combination of funny and serious awards. The Assembly started with the presentation of the Senior Sillies.The Senior Sillies started with awarding Diana Briones, Luke Moore and Scarlett Chavez with the honor of Beauty and Brains.
