Mid-Plains Communications Annual meeting was held at the Swisher County Senior Citizens Center on Friday, April 10th. Dusty George introduced the Board of Directors.

Today I am writing about a Great Comanche Chief. Chief Peta Nocona was a fierce warrior and leader of his people and a father to his children one of whom is recognized as the last Comanche. Peta Nocona was the Father of Quanah Parker.
