October is breast cancer awareness month. In recognition of the individuals who have lost the battle with cancer, those still fighting the battle and those who have won the battle with cancer the Tulia volleyball girls held a Pink Out day at the gym.

In reference to an all-time television classic, although the paved route was neither brick nor yellow, the Hornet football team made the long trek to Childress last Friday searching for something they were in desperate need of. Not a brain. Not a heart or even courage, but a win.
