Hereford ISD’s Migrant Education Program took 19 students to Austin to participate in the Close-Up Austin/Texas Academy Program . This Academy aims to build students’ sense of connection to the rights and responsibilities of citizens.
Congratulations to Hereford High School graduate Ja'Deion High (third row, third from left) on being selected to the final roster for the 2026 U.S. Men's National Flag Football Team! Ja'Deion will represent the United States at the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Flag Football World Championship this August in Düsseldorf, Germany. A former Whiteface standout and Texas Tech Red Raider, Ja'Deion continues to make Hereford proud on the national stage.

The Hereford Whitefaces swept El Paso Riverside 4-3, 3-1 last week in the Area Round of the UIL Baseball Playoffs. This week the team takes on Mineral Wells in Clyde Thursday (7 p.m.), Friday (1 p.m.) and Saturday (if necessary).

The Hereford Whitefaces claimed the Bi-District Championship trophy topping Andrews in three games in Littlefield. Hereford dropped the first game of the series and then rallied for two wins on Saturday. Senior Kalub Ramirez got the first Saturday win with 14 strikeouts. The Herd won the game 7-0.
