Lopez graduates from WTAMU nursing program

More than 50 graduates from West Texas A&M University’s nursing program were honored at a pre-commencement observance before attending the commencement ceremony held later that afternoon.Lauren Lopez of Dimmitt was among the graduates.
Castro County 4-H were Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree at their last meeting, jamming to holiday music, making Christmas tree pretzel sticks, painting wood tree ornaments, and hand sewing felt ornaments. Youth from Kindergarten to 5t grade are welcome to join in each month for various activities and fun at Rhoads Memorial Library.

The Nazareth Swiftettes scored win against the Hart Ladyhorns, 92-20.The Swiftettes completed 33 of 55 2-pointers, five of 20 3-pointers, 11 of 14 free throws, collected 34 assists, 19 offensive and defensive rebounds, five blocks, 20 defl ections, 29 steals, and five fouls.
