WTAMU Horse Judging ends season with championships

West Texas A&M University’s Horse Judging team closed out the fall season with two overall championships and two individual champions.WT came out on top of nine teams, including Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University, at the National Reining Horse Association Futurity Judging Contest on Dec.

Pierce Wilhelm, Taryn Wethington.

Phelan withdraws from Texas Speaker race

Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, Republican, announced he is dropping his bid for another term, renewing a frenzied competition for control the position in the Texas Legislature just one day before one day before a scheduled meeting where Republicans are set to pick their nominee for the gavel.
Naz Ag came on strong at the Amarillo Classic Junior Livestock Show. Jett Farris placed 4th In British Cross steers and Kannon Farris was the Hereford Breed Champion.
